Web Privacy Policy and Commercial Communications

1. OBJECTIVE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This Policy will be applied to all data communicated by the Users of the several websites of the Uniformal, which is the exclusive property of Uniformal. Moreover this Policy is also extended to the Users subscribed to our newsletters or other promotions or commercial communications and to those Accounts who contact us directly for large volume orders.

2. WHAT TYPE OF DATA IS COVERED?

Uniformal does not employ sensible data in any case. Neither we ask our Users, nor we store them in any kind of support. Racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, syndical affiliation, genetic or biometric data, sexual orientation or behaviour identification data are not found in any of our records.

We only employ personal data such as e-mail, that enable us to contact our Users or Subscribers, their name and surname (or social denomination) and their physical addresses in order to fulfil the delivery of the orders. We also store the related fiscal identification numbers if they are required to generate any type of bill or budget. Phone is only used to contact our Customers or Users to clarify any incomplete or unclear information, or to be able to promptly fix an issue. Customers or Users can also be contacted by telephone if we have been asked for a quote or received an express order request. Our department which deals with larger budgets or special orders uses either telephone or e-mail to contact users or customers.

In regards to the automatic browsing data we collect, we recommend to read our Cookie Policy, as well as point #14 of this Document.

3. RESPONSIBILITIES RELATED FROM DATA TREATMENT

The information provided by our Users or Customers is treated at Uniformal located in 29 Fashion City Ballymount, Co. Dublin Dublin D24 RP76 Ireland. This information is stored in our own electronic devices or those of our technological partners (see point #12 National or International data transference).

As User, you may contact directly our data protection delegate by sending an email to sales@uniformal.ie with “Data protection delegate” as its subject.

4. WHO MAY PROVIDE US THEIR DATA?

People aged less than 18 years are not authorized to make a purchase in any of the Uniformal websites, nor to subscribe to the promotions or commercial communications of our products.

The User is always responsible for providing true, exact, authentic and up-to-date data, and Uniformal reserves the right to exclude any User or Customer who provides false data

5. HOW DO YOU PROVIDE YOUR DATA?

During the sign up process, any user can willingly give his/her express consent for the data treatment, subject to this Policy. Also while browsing the Uniformal webpages, the User may add his/her data to the Subscribers file of Uniformal. The goal of this file is to communicate news, offers, promotions and information that could be useful for the User. In any case, Users may always use their rights on data treatment.

6. WHAT LEGAL FOUNDATION IS USED TO TREAT YOUR DATA?

The legal foundation of the data we employ is based on:

  • Fulfilling the product or services acquisition contract via the Uniformal website (your purchase order) or through the product or services acquisition contract sent by the Key Accounts department (your purchase order or budget requisition)

  • Your express consent to receive communications about our products, services and latest news and promotions.

7. DO WE SHARE OR ASSIGN YOUR DATA?

No. Uniformal will not share in any case your personal data to any company, whether it is a linked company or not, nor will use your personal data in any way different than what this policy details. We are committed to inform you of any corporate change that would result in a new ownership of the data you provided, and so giving you the chance to exercise your rights.

In order to better fulfil its services, Uniformal is obliged to facilitate certain customer data (e.g. name, address, phone number) to the delivery companies that will deliver your parcels. In any case, all shared data is strictly required for the activity to be done, that is, the correct delivery of the Uniformal products.

8. HOW IS YOUR DATA PROTECTED?

Uniformal guarantees the confidentiality of the data provided by Users and Customers protected via personal passwords. Each user is responsible for the inappropriate use of such passwords. Uniformal does not employ any technological service unless that partner can guarantee to uphold the present Privacy Policy. We do not use services that might not give response to our Users data security. We are committed to promptly communicate any security breaches that could present a threat to their individual rights.

9. HOW MUCH TIME IS YOUR DATA STORED?

If you are a Customer, we will keep your economic information (e.g. invoices, account entries) at least during the times set by the regulations.

As Subscriber, we will keep your data as long as the information that is sent to your e-mail address does not indicate a failure in its sending, and up to a maximum of 10 years since its entry in the file. In any case, you may always exercise your rights about any of your data by contacting sales@uniformal.ie or via a postal mailing.

11. HOW DO I EXERCISE MY RIGHTS?

In order to exercise your rights, you will need to provide a copy of a valid Identification (e.g. Passport) and an address where we can confirm the reception of your request and the response we have given to it. The exercise of any of these rights has no fee associated.

12. NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERENCE

Your data will only be transferred internationally if Uniformal has a company operating locally in the market in which you are located. In this market you are guaranteed at least the same user rights as those expressed in this Policy, regardless of whether local regulations might be more strict or not.

14. COOKIES

Uniformal’s website uses cookies, small data files that are stored in the user’s system to work. These cookies do not contain any type of personal information. Most browsers currently automatically accept cookies, but users can stop its generation in their computer by selecting the related option. This cookie deactivation does not prevent access to the website content but it does prevent from ordering.

Besides cookies, we use 3rd party technologies:

  • Advertising and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, including Google Analytics Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting

  • Google Adwords, including Remarketing and DoubleClick cookies

  • Facebook Ads, including Facebook Custom Audiences.

We use these tools to measure and improve the website content and to inform, optimize and present ads based on past visits to our websites and mobile apps. These tools and technologies obtain and analyse information, such as cookies, in an aggregated and anonymous manner. Google Analytics, Google AdWords and DoubleClick cookies do not record any information that could identify a person.
